Join us for an organizing training and community building hour! The training topic for this week is Strategy Charting. Gabriel Silva, Senior Field Organizer with the Field Organizing Capacity Team, will give us an overview of a tool for organizing your campaign strategy thoughts.
This year has gotten off to a tough start for people who care about protecting the environment and our communities. These bi-weekly hour long calls will be structured to include approximately 30 minutes of organizing training and 30 minutes of facilitated discussion and time for making new connections.
We welcome volunteers from Sierra Club chapters in the Northeast to join us including new volunteers. There aren't always opportunities for discussion of strategies and tactics across our region, and shared challenges and learnings. The plan is to bring in multiple staff and volunteer organizers to share in the training facilitation and we hope people who join as participants might ultimately be interested in being presenters themselves. We hope to continue beyond the initial dates posted but may re-evaluate time, cadence, and the needs of our volunteers.
