Tabling at 2026 Earth Action Rally:Our People, Our Power!
Help us table at the Earth Action Rally happening in Salt Lake City, on Sunday, April 26. We need to get the word out about the Sierra Club, our Utah Renewable Communities ordinance adoption campaign, and our defense of Grand Staircase Escalante.

On Sunday, April 26 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm, community members from across the Salt Lake area are gathering on the Utah State Capitol steps for the Earth Action Rally: Our Power, Our Planet. There will be speakers on local environmental issues, a musical performance, and tabling by local nonprofits. We'll be there, and we'd love your help.
We're looking for volunteers to staff our table and talk with people about the Utah Renewable Communities program. Right now, 19 Utah communities have the chance to offer their residents affordable clean energy at a flat monthly rate, but only if local councils pass adoption ordinances before the June 2 deadline. Every conversation we have at events like this helps build the kind of community support that gets those ordinances across the finish line.
You don't need to be an energy expert. We'll send you talking points, printed materials, and a short training walkthrough before the event so you feel confident and prepared. You'll be alongside other volunteers and staff the whole time.
This rally draws people who already care about the environment and want to take action. That makes it one of the best opportunities we have to connect with supporters, answer questions, and point people toward ways they can show up for clean energy in their own community.
The event is just two hours, so there's no need to break it into shifts. Sign up below and we'll be in touch with details as we get closer to April 26.
