Join the Ride to End Fossil Fuels for an afternoon of mural painting,
origami folding, and a community discussion about the proposed pipeline under the Connecticut River. Mural painting will start at 3pm, and riders from the Ride to End Fossil Fuels will join around 4pm. The rest of the event will include speakers on the pipeline proposed under the Connecticut River and how to engage in opposing the expansion of fossil fuels in Connecticut.
This event will take place at Chicks Ahoy community farm in Middletown.
Chicks Ahoy is a nonprofit that aims to increase the number of underrepresented farmers in Connecticut, increase youth and families’ access to FACES (Farming, Agriculture, Conservation, and Environmental Stewardship), and organize to fix the state’s broken social safety net.
