Anne Arundel Group Annual Membership Potluck Picnic
Please join us for our Annual Potluck Picnic at the scenic Downs Park Tanglewood Pavilion on Saturday May 10, from 11:30 AM to 4 pm. We will have an informative guest speaker Sonia Demiray, who will discuss issues regarding conservation easements and what it really takes to properly preserve forest habitat . A short walk/hike is additionally offered for those interested to explore and enjoy nature.( Separate paper registration with waiver will be required at the pavilion for the short outing.)

Cost: Park entrance fee is $6 per vehicle if you do not have a park pass. Downs Park is located at 8311 John Downs Loop, Pasadena MD 21122. We will welcome donations to replenish our Group funds. Recommended donation is $20; however, give as you can.
Bring: Bring Food and plenty of Beverages for your party and some to share with others. We are doing our best to make this a sustainable event. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own tableware . We'll have a supply of extra tableware just in case.No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park. There is no water available at the pavilion. Most importantly, bring family, friends, or neighbors.

Additional Directions: Downs Park is located at 8311 John Downs Loop, Pasadena MD 21122. From the North, South, and West, travel onto Rt 100 E and merge left onto Rt 10 S for 0.4 miles. Slight right onto MD 177 E/Mountain Rd for 3.7 miles. Continue straight onto Pinehurst Rd for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Chesapeake Bay Dr. and continue to the Tanglewood Pavilion after check in at Entrance Booth.
Carpool: Carpooling is encouraged, but it is your individual responsibility.
