Spring Ephemerals Walk
Join us on a short walk to see spring ephemerals (e.g., bloodroot, red trillium, marsh marigold, trout lily, etc.), insects, and amphibians. We will also visit a couple of waterfalls nearby. The walk will be guided by a forest expert with deep knowledge of the area floral and fauna. Please bring a jacket in case the weather is cold or inclement. Also, have sunscreen and a hat; bring a lunch/snack plus water; and wear long pants and shirt for bug biting protection.

Join us on a short walk to see spring ephemerals (e.g., Bloodroot, Red Trillium, Jack in the Pulpit, Trout Lily, etc.), insects, and amphibians. We will also visit a couple of beautiful waterfalls nearby. The walk is less than a 1/2 mile with minor elevation gain. It will be guided by a forest specialist with deep knowledge of the area’s floral and fauna.
Please bring a jacket in case the weather is cold or inclement. Also, have sunscreen and a hat; bring a lunch/snack plus water; and wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots and long pants and shirt for insect bite protection.

Signup Instructions: Please register for the walk by filling out the RSVP and waiver.
Signup Restrictions: There is a limit of 15 people to attend this walk. Signs-up are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Additional Directions: Directions, parking, and other outing instructions will be provided to those who sign-up.
Cancellation Policy: Activity is held rain or shine, but may be altered due to inclement weather
