Instead of Walden, we have Wellington — a place where wetlands, quiet trails, and seasonal surprises invite us to slow down and notice what’s alive around us. Join us for an interpretive morning walk along familiar paths where every visit reveals something new. As spring leans toward summer, we may see hummingbirds visiting blooming firebush, butterflies and pollinators gathering in the sun, and birdsong carrying across the water.
This relaxed walk is approximately 2 miles on flat paved trails and boardwalks, with frequent stops to observe wildlife, explore native plants, and see what happens when we give nature our full attention. Some walks feel peaceful, others feel full of discovery… let’s see which story Wellington tells us this time.
All experience levels welcome.
