San Elijo Lagoon and Annie's slot canyon loop at sunset
Starting at the San Elijo Activity Hub Park & Ride we will loop around the lagoon to reach Annie's slot canyon trail and take in the views of the newly restored San Elijo Lagoon.We'll go through the narrow sandstone walls hugging hikers through this true slot canyon around sunset, to take plenty of photos and a deep breath of ocean air at the top. Be prepared for a steep climb! We'll return to the cars via a short hike and walk on paved trails crossing the suspended bridge under I5.
