Let's explore the Upper San Leandro Reservoir area of the EBMUD in Moraga as on this 7 to 8 miles hike with about 1500 feet in elevation gain. This is a seldom visited area and maybe we will see some late spring wildflowers. There is no water at the staging area.

Let's explore the Upper San Leandro Reservoir area of the EBMUD in Moraga on this 5 to 6 miles hike with about 750 feet in elevation gain. The pace will leisurely with stops to look for early spring wildflowers. This is a seldom visited area. There is no water at the staging area.

Signup Instructions: Meet at the Valle Vista Staging Area at noon.

Signup Restrictions: The pace of this hike is leisurely and if you are looking for a fast-paced hike this hike is not for you.

Additional Directions: Take Hwy 24 to the Orinda exit. Go south on Moraga Way (turn right if you are coming from Oakland) until it ends Canyon Rd. Turn right at the intersection and go about a mile. The Valle Vista Staging Area will be on your left.
