Pinnacle Knob via the Bartram Trail
Pinnacle Knob on the Bartram Trail - 2 waterfalls and top-of-the-knob views. We will follow the Bartram Trail from Warwoman Dell past Becky Branch Falls and Martin Creek Falls. Both streams have footbridges so crossings are easy and dry. From there, we will take the newly re-routed Pinnacle Knob Trail and hike up to Pinnacle Knob for lunch and great views of the area. The Bartram Trail follows the approximate route of 18th-century naturalist William Bartram's southern journey from March 1773 to January 1777. We will take a moderate pace. ~8 miles. Net elevation gain 1,725 feet. ~5 hours hiking + .5 hr lunch. Limit 10.
