Breaking the Cycle of Silence: Becoming a Water Advocate

Clayton County Water Authority's Newman Wetlands Center, in partnership with the Atlanta Watershed Learning Network and Sierra Club Georgia, invites you to a free event centered on watershed conservation, environmental justice, and water-industry careers.

The day will begin with an exhibition of water advocacy organizations, followed by a screening of “Harm in the Water”, a film by Kendall Moore. The screening will be followed by lunch and small group guided discussion. The day will close with two 45-minute skill-building workshops, including water quality sampling and a Sierra Club Georgia-led Community Organizing 101 workshop.
