Join us for a beginner-friendly introduction to birding at Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve in Decatur! This 28-acre sanctuary encompasses wetlands, upland forests, and pine forests along the floodplain of South Peachtree Creek — and it's a remarkable spot for birds. Over 170 different species have been observed at the preserve, including songbirds, ducks, wading birds, and raptors. We'll explore the trails at a relaxed pace, learning how to use binoculars, get started with bird identification, and tune into the natural world. Binoculars provided, no experience needed. Just bring water and comfortable shoes.

Level: Easy

Cancellation Policy: Any rain cancels
