I:Mount Julius Caesar (13200')
I:Mount Julius Caesar (13200') - Join us for an ascent of Mount Julius Caesar, a prominent Sierra summit positioned along the crest between Pine Creek and French Canyon. This outing from the Pine Creek Trailhead covers 18.5 miles round trip with 6,200 of total elevation gain, following the Pine Creek Pass trail into the high basin before a rugged Class 2 scramble over granite talus to the summit. This is a strenuous endeavor requiring exceptional physical conditioning and recent high-altitude experience. Sturdy boots and proper layers for the Sierra crest are essential. Register below to submit a waiver and medical form online, then complete your registration by emailing the Primary Leader with contact & carpool info, and recent conditioning and experience. If accepted, the leaders will contact you to confirm your spot and provide trip status and details. Leader: Jason Park, Co-Leaders: Sunny Yi, Erica Kim.
