WHAT: Hike from Timber Ridge to Briery Branch Reservoir Road. This is a 5.8-mile hike beginning at the Timber Ridge trail on Reddish Knob. We plan to shuttle hikers from the Briery Branch Reservoir up to the Timber Ridge trailhead at the top of Reddish Knob.
The hike begins on steep, rocky terrain and rambles mostly downhill for 3.5 miles to the intersection with Wolf Ridge Trail.  We descend steeply .5 miles on Wolf Ridge to the intersection with Lynn Trail, where we will again descend steeply through a forested canyon to the intersection with the Briery Branch Reservoir Road.  The final .8 along this road is flat with a stream crossing along the way. We reach SR 924 and shuttle hikers back to their vehicles.
WHEN: Saturday, June 6th, at 11:30 AM, immediately following the Roadless Rule Rally at Briery Branch Reservoir. Please consider attending the 10:00 AM Rally for the Roadless Rule to show your support for the preservation of roadless forest lands in Virginia and the US.
WHERE: Meet at the Briery Branch Reservoir to shuttle cars to the trail head.
