Join us for one of the most beautiful hikes in the area!  We'll meet at the Gilgare parking lot at 2:00pm for a brief introduction at the trail head, located at the East end of the parking lot.  Our first trail will take us to the lakeshore, followed by the prarie and wooded trails, for a total of 2.5 - 3 hiking miles.  Experience bluffs, ravines and breathtaking views of Lake Michigan as seen only from the vantage point of Ft Sheridan. Wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring water and sun protection as needed.  A trip letter will be sent via email to all who have registered, one week prior to the outing.

Cost: $5.00 Sierra Club donation

Recommended Items: Hiking shoes, water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
