It will take place at the beautiful Kenlake State Resort Park, November 13th to 15th. With our venue being in lovely western Kentucky, we want to address a variety of important environmental and regional topics, including: 1) the history and uniquenesss of Lands Between the Lakes, (2) climate change, (3) nuclear concerns in the region, (4) regenerative agriculture, (5) data centers, and (6) a legislative wokrshop. We dont yet know who our keynote speaker will be. There will be plenty of opportunities to socialize on Friday and Saturday evenings, including Saturday evenings all-local food buffet. Hiking trails are available, and we plan three leader-led hikes during the day, including: 1) birdwatching, (2) invasive plants, and (3) the history of Cherokee Park close by.

LODGING INFORMATION:
Note: Kenlake State Resort Park appears to have plenty of capacity in its lodge and cottages.
1. RESERVATION DEADLINE FOR DISCOUNTED LODGING IS 5pm, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2026. However, it would be better if everyone could make their reservation by SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2026, because of the following sentence in the contract: “Park will release up to 20 accommodations after Sunday, September 13, 2026 (based on pick-up analysis).” In other words, if there are very few Sierra Club reservations on September 13, then the Park may decide to release those 20 accommodations to the general public. You could still reserve one of those accommodations but without the discount. a. To reserve lodging by phone, call the Park (270-474-2211). Identify yourself as a member of Sierra Club and give the reservation agent our 4-digit “Group Booking Code,” 3091.
