Enjoy nature trails in the morning, artist displays, and a picnic lunch on shady picnic tables before Noon.
Our afternoon speakers will highlight monarch habitat needs. Speakers will represent Monarch Watch, The Missouri Prairie Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy-Missouri.
The Thomas Hart Benton Group of the Missouri Chapter Sierra Club has seeded two areas for monarch habitat, and has been advocating for preserving nectar sources during the fall migration of monarchs. Data from several sources indicate the migration through Missouri is more scarce, and we are looking for resources to further study.

Signup Instructions: Come for morning activities, picnic, and afternoon speakers.

Recommended Items: Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on shaded picnic tables.

Additional Directions: Activities outside the Nature Center in the morning, speakers begin inside in the auditorium at Noon.
