The next Craftivist Night will be a hands-on zine workshop - we want to teach you how to make one for climate and other advocacy issues.Well walk through the basics together: how to fold, format, and turn a complex issue into something short, sweet, and visually fun. Sierra Club will bring 3 advocacy topics ready to zine-ify, but youre also welcome to bring your own issue or resource youve been wanting to translate into something people will actually pick up and read.

This summer, we’re hosting a new series for Craftivist Night: smaller, more hands-on, instructional workshops that will teach participants a new art skill and ways to take action for clean energy and our planet.
Part 1, happening June 8, will be a hands-on zine workshop - we want to teach you how to make one for climate and other advocacy issues.
We’ll walk through the basics together: how to fold, format, and turn a complex issue into something short, sweet, and visually fun. Sierra Club will bring 3 advocacy topics ready to zine-ify, but you’re also welcome to bring your own issue or resource you’ve been wanting to translate into something people will actually pick up and read.
Free supplies and one free drink per attendee!
The only ask: 15 minutes at the end of each workshop to take action together. That might look like submitting a public comment, registering for a hearing, drafting a letter to the editor, or whatever is urgent in the fight for utility accountability and clean energy that month.
