Camping and Day Hiking in Mammoth
Enjoy several days of camping and hiking in the Mammoth area. Bus transportation from San Diego, transportation to the campground, and shuttle service to trailheads are all included in the trip price.
Possible Hikes
Participants may choose from a variety of day hikes, including:
- Devil's Postpile to Red's Meadow
- Minaret Vista Trail
- Mammoth Rock Trail
- Crystal Lake
- Lake George to Lake Mary
- Saddlebag Lake area
Each evening, participants will sign up for the following day's hike.
Equipment Recommendations
- Hiking boots with good traction
- Trekking poles (recommended)
- The Ten Essentials for hiking safety
- Rain gear
Food and Water
- Bring enough food for multiple days.
- Potable water is available at the campground.
Please come prepared for changing mountain weather conditions and varying trail difficulty levels.
