The City of Boise is considering a community solar project that could help lower living costs for low-income residents while producing clean energy.

Join Idaho Sierra Club for a community roundtable, where local residents from across Boise can learn about this project, engage in a climate storytelling activity, prepare to testify in support of the project at a July hearing, and talk with some of their City and Statewide elected officials.

  • Come learn about the project and the budget process. Ask questions, give input, tell your story, and sign up to get involved.
  • Free dinner will be provided—please include any dietary restrictions in your RSVP!
  • Kids are welcome to come, we'll have some activities to keep them occupied!
We’re excited about the possibility to create Boise's (and Idaho's) first equitable community solar project! Everyone deserves clean & affordable energy. We can make it happen in Boise, starting with this project.
