O: Glenwood Camp to Winston Peak 7470' From Camp Glenwood 8 miles r/t 1500 +/- elevation gain. Come join us on this beautiful section of the Pacific Crest trail. The trail will take us along Waterman Mountain. This section of the PCT stays fairly close to the Angeles Crest Highway and crosses it several times as we reach Cloudburst Summit. From Winston Peak we will have views of the desert and the north face of Mount Baldy. Adventure pass required. This is a front country outing, but we encourage you to carry a medical form.

Signup Instructions: Meet at 8:00 at the La Canada ride share point on the Angeles Crest Highway (Highway 2) in La Canada Flintridge, about 2 blocks north of the 210 Freeway. We meet on the grassy strip along the east side of the highway north of Chehalem Road cross street. Parking is available on both sides of the grassy strip. Contact leader for an alternate ride share.
Recommended Items: Bring sturdy footwear, hydration, snacks, lunch, layers, and sun protection.
Signup Restrictions: If you are feeling sick or have any symptoms such as a cough, cold, fever, etc., please do not join this outing.
Additional Directions: Alternatively meet 8:45 at the 6000 ft Day Use parking lot near Camp Glenwood. From La Canada drive 35 miles up Hwy 2 to the closed gate, or 3.3 miles beyond Newcomb's Ranch. Park on your right in a large parking lot.
