Students in Utah who are concerned about their future are taking action to create a healthier environment inside and outside of school. Join us to learn how you can start a campaign to transition your school district to 100% clean energy.

Who: students in Ogden School District
What: we are gathering students to connect with each other, learn about the benefits of clean energy in schools, and strategize a campaign for 100% clean energy in Ogden School District.
When: June 25, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Where: Location will be provided upon registration
Why: Currently, Utah schools emit around 889,788 metric tons of carbon emissions annually. That’s the equivalent of operating nearly 200,000 gasoline-powered cars for one year! Our goal is to help Utah school districts achieve 100% clean energy by 2030 and  carbon neutrality by 2040, which will significantly reduce carbon emissions and energy costs, improve air quality and student health, position schools to serve as community resilience hubs during and after emergencies, and save millions of dollars that can be reinvested into students and classrooms.
