Little Manatee River State Park

Join us for about a 4-mile hike exploring open prairies, scrub and flatwoods.  This is an interpretive hike and we will learn about the habitats with pauses for quotes to help us reflect and connect with the natural world. 

Usual hiking gear/apparel e.g. water, hat, sun protection, closed toe shoes, long pants recommended. 
Optional sunglasses, mosquito protection.
 

Level: Moderate (About four miles)

Cost: State Park entrance fee, $5.00

Signup Instructions: Register on this website and sign waiver

Recommended Items: water, sun protection

Signup Restrictions: limited to 6 folks

Additional Directions: meet at trailhead/canoe launch parking inside main park, NOT North of the river.Click on red balloon gives directions.

Cancellation Policy: Any rain cancels
