O: Thursday Evening Conditioning Hike, La Cañada Flintridge
Pasadena Group Conditioning Hike: Enjoy great views of the LA basin and night sky while getting an aerobic hiking workout, moderate to strenuous effort. Starting from Palm Drive, we hike the Earl Canyon Motorway, a fire road, to the concrete slab, 2.5 miles, to enjoy city views. Total hike distance is 5 miles round trip, 1,300 feet of elevation gain. Meet 6:45 pm, in the north end of the parking lot at Palm Crest Elementary School. We start hiking promptly at 7 pm. This is a front country hike.
