Losco Regional Park is a 210-acre park and preserve near the southeast Interstate 95/295 interchange. The park includes walking/running/biking trails, a playground, multi-use playing field, and pavilions for picnicking. The morning outing will combine the Red, White and Blue loop for a hike of 3 miles. The trails vary between paved, dirt, occasional root tripping hazards and 2 knee-high step over logs. For the safety and comfort of the group, pets will not be able to join on this hike. To begin our hike please meet at the trail head at 6:45 which is located near the multi-use playing field. Restrooms are located nearby.The Sierra Club and the YMCA of the USA have launched a national partnership focused on improving the health and well-being of former and current members of the military and their families through outdoor experiences. Studies prove the mental health benefits of participating in outdoor programs.Sierra Club maintains a safe space agreement between participants, leaders, volunteers, and staff. We want to support everyone in exploring, enjoying, and protecting our natural environment, and hateful and dangerous behavior will not be tolerated. We dont want to deny participation in these outdoor programs and we will always say no to racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, impairment, and disruption. We request that all participants cooperate with the outing leader's direction to ensure a safe and enjoyable outing for everyone.

Additional Directions: DIRECTIONS: The park is located at 10931 Hood Road South Jacksonville, FL 32257. From Interstate 295 take Old St Augustine Rd to Losco Rd, take Losco Rd to Hood Rd (3 miles).
