Dr. Schalk will share exciting developments in renewable energy research, emerging technologies, and the innovative work taking place in academia to advance clean energy solutions

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM – General MeetingGuest Speakers: Erica Stewart and Dr. Vidya SchalkErica Stewart has served as the Mayor of San Luis Obispo since 2021 and currently lectures in Cal Poly’s College of Liberal Arts. Dr. Vidya Schalk is a lecturer and the first Sustainability Faculty Fellow, in the Bioresources, Agricultural, and Materials Engineering (BRAE) department at Cal Poly. Additionally, she owns and operates a sustainable winery in Paso Robles: Silver River Vineyards.This event is free and open to the public. Please bring a dish or beverage to share during the potluck social hour. We look forward to seeing you for an informative evening of learning, discussion, and community.
