We will meet in front of the Hughes Pavilion, the large structure in the center of the Centennial Lake Park. Free parking is adjacent to it and on the upper level.
If you plan to take the bus, Metro Transit has a bus stop at France Avenue South and West 76th Street, just a short walk from Centennial Lakes Park.

Description:Join us for a 2.5 mile walk around the ponds and the Edina Promenade.
Centennial Lake is a successful example of private-public partnership. Formerly a gravel pit, it was redeveloped as a mixed-use office and lifestyle complex starting in 1988. The park features more than 1.5 miles of paved pathways meandering around an artificial 10-acre lake, gardens and sculptures. We will walk around the lake and then continue on the Edina Promenade for one more mile. This recent addition connects apartments and condos to various shops and stores in the area and to the Nine Mile Creek Trail. Nearby residents have access to shopping, drugstores and medical facilities, all within walking distance. Well-behaved pets are welcome!
