Kwaay Paay

Join us for an early morning, beat the summer heat, social paced hike at Kwaay Paay in San Diego’s very own Mission Trails Regional Park! This is a challenging 2.4-mile out-and-back hike. It climbs 882 feet to a 1,194-foot summit, offering an intense workout and panoramic views in about 1.5 to 2 hours. The trail is rocky and steep, so wear supportive hiking shoes. If you like hiking poles for steep hills, this may be a good time to bring them. The weather could get warm despite our early start, so prepare with 2 liters of water minimum and protective clothing (hat, sunglasses, etc…) and/or gear and sunscreen.

We will discuss and practice one or more of the Leave No Trace principles on our hike.
