Lake Santa Fe is considered to be the source of the Santa Fe River. Together with Lake Alto, these rain fed lakes are rookeries for many birds including the Great Blue Herons. This is an easy paddle through a canopied shoreline to explore the ecosystem of this pristine lake.
Cost: free + equipment rental of $30 per kayak
