Join us for a leisurely, exploratory hike of approximately 2 miles through the scrub and flatwoods habitats of Yamato Scrub Natural Area.
We’ll move at an easy pace with frequent stops to observe whatever catches our attention along the way—from seasonal plants and wildlife to the subtle changes that help tell the story of this unique South Florida habitat. No special knowledge is needed; just bring your curiosity!
The trail includes sandy and uneven sections with exposed roots and limited shade. There are no restrooms on site.

Cost: Free
Recommended Items: Please bring water, sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes.
Additional Directions: We will meet by the informational kiosk at the trail head adjacent to the parking lot.
