Join us on Saturday, September 26th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for the 20th annual River Clean-up hosted by Piasa Palisades Sierra Club at Lincoln Shields Recreation Area.

Meet at 8:45 am at Lincoln Shields Recreation Area (US 67 West, Alton, MO)

Volunteers will hop onto boats to help clean an island or shore along the Mississippi River. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and lunch.

We couldn't do this important conservation work without the incredible help of our volunteers, the Beasley Fish Brothers, Living Lands and Waters, National Public Lands Day, the Jacoby Arts Center, Alton Main Street, and the Army Corps of Engineers. Thank you!

Recommended Items: Please wear closed toe shoes, preferably muck boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and your own water bottle to refill.
