This is a great opportunity to join our group to explore the inlets on a beautiful section of Smith Creek.  View wildlife, listen to birds, paddle under bridges new and old, while enjoying calm waters and noting the impacts of dredging (salt water intrusion), sea level rise, and water pollution.

Meet at Archie Blue Community Park in the Love Grove neighborhood at 7:30am for an 8:00am launch.  Offload at the grassy area at the bottom of lot and then park. This will be a 2 - 2.5 hour paddle with rest stops.  Sean and Jim will be on hand, and ready to greet you.

Please bring your OWN kayak and paddles, a PFD is required.  A sun hat, water and maybe a snack are suggested. 

Level: Moderate (Previous kayaking exp. a must)

Signup Restrictions: Need kayaking experience and need to bring own kayak and pfd

Additional Directions: Look for Sean or Jim in the parking area of the park near the Sierra Club banner.
