Sierra Club's Ventana chapter (Monterey) and Protect Monterey County will host a "Hands Across the Sand" event on Saturday, Sept 26, from 12 noon- 1pm (1 hour) at Monterey's Window on the Bay park, 717 Del Monte Ave. This event welcomes all to show our support for the Monterey Bay and show our opposition to Offshore Drilling. We will have a large banner and encourage you to bring a sign expressing your opposition to the Trump administration's illegal proposal to open more offshore drilling along the Calif coast. This short community gathering allows us to come together and say NO OIL DRILLING OFF OUR COAST. Hope to see you there!
