Schedule:

*Check in on Friday, Oct 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

An optional casual dinner will be available at 7:00 pm (you must RSVP for this dinner)

*Unpack and get settled in your assigned cabin (males and females) or your own tent, enjoy the optional dinner, then join team-building and icebreaker activities in the evening

Tent camping is available if preferred, but you must bring your own tent and camping equipment

*Have breakfast Saturday morning at 9:00 am

Enjoy the activities of your choice Saturday from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, including ziplining, archery or BB guns, canoeing or kayaking on Lake Brooklyn, and hiking at Gold Head Branch State Park (official schedule to be provided soon)

*Pause for lunch at 12:00 pm

Dinner is served around 5:00 pm, followed by the evening bonfire from about 6:30 to 9:00 pm with s'mores, music, and conversation

*Have breakfast Sunday morning at 9:00 am

Check out by 11:00 am on Sunday

Level: Easy (Beginner is OK)

Cost: FREE: Deposit with the YMCA will be refunded after you show up to the retreat.

Signup Instructions: - You must pre-register at:ymcacampimmokalee.campbrainregistration.com. When registering on the Camp website, select "Private Events" then "Sierra Club Veteran Weekend"- A $25 deposit per person is required upon registration and will be refunded to you only upon camp check-in. Participants may also join the fun on Saturday-only but will need to select that option on the registration form. If you are joining us for Saturday only, check-in will be open at 8:00 am in the dining hall.

Recommended Items: - Twin-size bedding, toiletries, swimwear, change of clothes as desired, sneakers/closed-toed shoes, hat, sunglasses, bug spray and sunscreen.- You may bring your own lawn chair, if you want.- Bring Photo ID.

Cancellation Policy: Activity is held rain or shine, but may be altered due to inclement weather
