Arcadia Dunes - Baldy Trail Hike - C.S Mott Nature Preserve Register

We will hike about 3 miles of trails through the forest and up the dunes of the C.S. Mott Nature Preserve. The trails include some long hills, steps, wooden and gravel walkways, viewing platform and a 356 Ft. Steep Bluff view over Lake Michigan. We will be on the lookout for migrating birds, fall color and wild flowers.
There are restroom at the beginning of the trail.
Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress according to the weather conditions.

Bring water, a camera, and a friend.

Arcadia Dunes as part of the C.S Mott Nature Preserve are in Manistee and Benzie County and are protected by the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy.

A liability form will need to be signed by all participants on this or any Sierra Club Outing.

All hikes are free and open to everyone, but donations are gratefully accepted to help support ongoing stewardship and programming.

Cancellation Policy:
The hike will proceed rain, snow, or shine. However, if an Extreme Weather Warning is issued by the National Weather Service, the hike will be canceled for safety reasons.
