26th Annual Hillsborough River Holiday Boat Parade
The Tampa Bay Sierra Club and Friends of the Hillsborough River will hold their 26th Annual Holiday Boat Parade leaving from the Lowry Park Boat Ramp at sunset (5:30 PM), with decorated canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and some power boats traveling north on the river to Sulphur Springs, and then paddling back to the boat ramp. All participants must sign a Waiver and everyone must WEAR at life jacket during the event. All vessels must have battery-powered lights and a safety whistle. Parking was difficult last year because of other events happening in Lowry Park, so this is another reason to arrive early. You may have to drop off your canoe and park in a remote lot.
