Join us for an early morning moderate rewarding loop to the summit of North Fortuna in Mission Trails Regional Park! We will meet at the trailhead and make our way up a few trails ultimately connecting to the Rim Trail that will lead us to a shorter summit up North Fortuna about 1/2 mile. This is a brisk pace hike with some hills to climb up to the summit. So if youd like a little bit of a challenge this hike is for you.Once we reach the summit, we will take a short break to enjoy snacks, soak in panoramic views, and capture a group photo if youd like to be in it. Well also talk about the 10 essentials and how you can be prepared for a day hike or any outdoor trip. Afterwards, we will head back down a different trail to complete our loop back at the trailhead where we started. The weather could be warm so come prepared with at least 2 liters of water and because this trail is exposed with no shade be prepared with sun protection (glasses, hat, sun shirt, etc).
