Kick off the Holidays with a Hike at Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park, followed by Lunch at Culinary Institute of America's, Apple Pie Bakery. Vanderbilt Mansion was built for the aristrocratic lifestyle. It is nestled in beautifully landscaped grounds with trees, an Italian garden, and a million dollar view of the Hudson and Catskill mountains. Our walk will take us through the gardens and down to the Hudson river.
Apple Pie Bakery Café is an elevated casual dining experience brought to you by the students and faculty at the Culinary Institute of America.
1946 Campus Drive (Route 9), Hyde Park, NY 12538-1499. Check out their menu at https://www.applepiebakerycafe.com/
Every Sierra Club member who joins us for either the hike, lunch or both events, will receive a free award winning Sierra Club calendar for 2027 as holiday gift.
