Rattlesnake Lodge Trail Hike

This is a nice loop trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway, just outside of Asheville. The trail includes a nice viewpoint early on, followed by the ruins of Rattlesnake Lodge, which was abandoned in the early 20th Century. It should be an enjoyable autumnal walk. The loop section past the lodge has a steep incline, but this part is short. The hike as a whole is fairly moderate. There are a couple fallen trees from storm damage, but these are passable as the trail has been maintained.
