Salmon FY2027 (MC).png

Washington, Oregon, and Tribal leaders have come together with a strong funding proposal for action to help Columbia River salmon return from the edge of extinction. The next step is for Congress to appropriate funds for these salmon that are so vital to the Northwest we love.

Dear Congressmember, Please appropriate funds for the actions that Washington, Oregon and Tribal leaders agree will help salmon. So much is at stake for high-value fisheries, Tribal nations, orcas, and enjoying our Northwest salmon traditions. President Trump doesn’t care about NW salmon or orcas and rejected the comprehensive plan to save them. But critical funding is in the hands of Congress. Please vote to fund the work called for in the Six Sovereigns’ proposal, which is based on the plan that Washington, Oregon, and Tribal leaders agree is the best way forward for salmon, and oppose any efforts to undermine salmon recovery. Thank you, Salmon Advocate
