The Maryland General Assembly formally kicks off its 2025 legislative session the second week in January!
As the legislative session begins, we need your help to get the initial word out to all members of the General Assembly about the Sierra Club's legislative priorities. Join us at 12:30 PM for a light brunch of coffee and bagels at the Stanton Community Center in Annapolis. After that we will deliver to each legislator's office one of our famous calendars and a letter detailing our legislative priorities for the year.
What: Sierra Club's annual legislative calendar drop
When: January 9th, 2025 from 12:30 PM-3:00 PM
Where: We will meet at the Stanton Community Center gymnasium on the first floor for a light lunch and to gather the materials before we drop of calendars. The community center is 92 W Washington St, Annapolis, MD 2140. It is .3 miles or a 6 minute walk away from the Maryland General Assembly building.
Who: Sierra Club volunteers and staff!
Why: Because advocacy matters and you can make a difference!
