Join the Florida Chapter for an exciting paddle at Blue Spring State Park! Paddle through spring run and into the beautiful historic waters of the St Johns river. Expect to be out for about two hours on the water. Along with learning about the local history and seeing wildlife, we will make several stops throughout the tour to allow for water breaks. Hang out after for a group lunch hang at the park and a lovely day at the beach!
For those with their own vessels, please meet at 4:30pm at the boat launch (follow road signs), to launch a with our paddlers who will need a boat. Please note that we launch our vessels from a beach. Your feet may get wet during the launch process, so please plan footwear accordingly.
We have a limited amount of kayaks paid for our group. Please indicate if you will need a single, or tandem kayak. Please try to arrive early, as parking fills up fast on weekends.
What to bring:
- Bathing Suit
- Sunscreen
- Towels
- Sun Protective Clothing (ie. Hats & Sun Shirts)
- Water Shoes or Waterproof Sandals
- Waterproof bags and phone cases
- Water Safety Vest (if bringing own vessel)
State Park entry fees not included:
$6.00 2-8 occupant vehicle
$4.00 single occupant vehicle
$2.00 pedestrian
